But pick one, for most people it's TRC20 because of it's speed, negligible fees, and availability on major wallets and exchanges so you're not stuck looking for different tokens to pay gas fees with.
The Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not choose a network because it is cheap before checking whether the receiving platform supports it. Unsupported deposits may be impossible to recover.
- Do not forget the native gas coin. ERC20 needs ETH. TRC20 may need TRX. BEP20 needs BNB. Solana needs SOL. If you hold only USDT and no native coin, you can get stuck.
- Do not assume similar-looking addresses mean same network. Always confirm the exact deposit network before sending.
